GET RID OF THOSE TOUCHY, NAGGING STOMACH ISSUES FOR GOOD!
How often have you found yourself wiggling on your seat, like, when you are seated with people and your tummy seems to choose that particular time to begin to grumble, making all sorts of noises? How embarrassing you feel at a formal event, a meeting, a party, or other occasions, and your tummy suddenly solicits the attention of everyone around you? Well, i have some times, and I guess you all have, at one time or the other.
Many seem not to realize that the digestive system in inevitably linked to the rest of our metabolism and is not an entity of its own, expected to work out its troubles on its own. What i mean is this, what you dwell on mentally, how long you do it, and in what mind frame directly affects your tummy's functions!!
Yes, for example, getting too worked up, too frequently, elevates your stress levels, and I tell you, stress is the worst of things your body needs. this condition not only keeps you on edge, getting everyone around you nervous, but it completely upsets your metabolism, your digestive system inclusive.
Then, there is the issue of not eating right. Of course it does seem like 24 hours is insufficient for everyone, and as you and I constantly try to catch up on time, eating properly is given little or no thought. Eating on the go, munching all sorts of things between meals, swallowing at any time of the day, that is not being fair to that cherished tummy of yours.
So, what to do?
-Step up your fibre intake by eating lots of fruits and vegetables! Fiber is essential because it aids the digestion process. Best choice: dark green leafy veggies!
-Slow down!! Did you knoe that the digestion process commences in the mouth, thanks to the saliva secreted?, Therefore, take your time, chew slowly, for a longer period of time. In turn, your intestines will have less work to to, and digestion will be optimal.
Here is a secret: count thirty in your mind when chewing, and put down your cutlery, between your bites.
-Then of course, get in the habit of relaxing! Do deep breath exercises, play soothing music, take refreshing walks, indulge in an upbuilding activity you love, regularly. Your tummy will do so too!
